Quebec Research Week in Cardiometabolic Health, Diabetes and Obesity – February 4 to 11, 2022

21 October 2021

General Public News

Cardiometabolic Health, Diabetes and Obesity Research Week activities are underway.

Winter Camp, an intensive training in the CMDO fields, will be held February 4-8, 2022 :

The goal of Winter Camp is intensive training in interactive workshops with internationally recognized speakers. Networking is also a priority in order to increase interactions with colleagues both locally and internationally. This translational research training will integrate the three main themes of the network: Cardiometabolic Health; Diabetes; Obesity and Patient Oriented Research. As well as the four research axes: Basic and pre-clinical research; Nutrition, physical activity and human pathophysiology (Clinical research); Lifestyle, risk factors and population interventions across the life cycle (Population research); Organization of care, sharing and use of knowledge (Health system research).

Doctoral students, residents, postdoctoral fellows, and research professionals from all regular members of the network are invited to participate in this competition. This year we will again have participants from the Institute of Cardiometabolism and Nutrition (ICAN, Paris) and an international post-doctoral fellow (with a recruitment target in Quebec). Francophone participants from outside Quebec, members of Action Diabetes Canada and Obesity Canada, are invited to attend the camp.

A flagship activity of the CMDO not to be missed!
