Area of expertise

The expertise of this core facility makes it possible to offer multiple in vivo analysis services in rodents, particularly in the fields of cardiac imaging, telemetry and various types of surgeries such as the implantation of probes and mini-pumps. The platform is based on several advanced instruments and technologies such as a SkyScan micro-CT scanner, an ART Optix MX2 optical imaging system for live animal studies and an EchoMRI NMR system, in addition to the rooms and telemetry applications. Our services are available to researchers in academic institutions, hospitals and industrial environments.

Évaluation de la composition corporelle par résonance magnétique quantitative non invasive (EchoMRI700)
Visualisation des processus de fluorescence endogène cellulaire et moléculaire (ART Optix MX2)
Mesure de l’ingestion totale de nourriture et d’eau et récolte de l’urine et des fèces des rongeurs (cages métaboliques)
Chirurgies de rats et souris : implantation de sondes télémétriques, modèle d’ischémie/reperfusion rénale UUO, cathétérisation de la veine jugulaire pour injection systémique de médicaments et cathétérisation de la carotide.
