CREATE-1 biobank is a prospective cohort of adults living with type 1 diabetes. Data and biological samples are collected every 3 years on participants who reside in the greater region of Montreal. Since 2023, over 220 patients have been included in the biobank. It aims to better understand the lived experience of type 1 diabetes, accelerate research, facilitate transalation research and precision medecine, and improve care.
