The BETTER Registry is a bilingual prospective registry that collects data on type 1 diabetes in Canada using online questionnaires. It brings together more than 400 results and experiences reported by participants, with additional optional direct measurements. Since 2019, more than 5,000 people have registered in the registry. It aims to better understand the experience of living with type 1 diabetes, accelerate research, facilitate recruitment for other studies, and improve care.
